Abstract

Recent charges by University of Maine at Orono Associate Athletic Director Anne McCoy that Athletic Director Mike Ploszek planned to conceal athletic-eligibility violations at the school has resulted in concern on the part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, which may move up a planned visit to Orono to investigate the situation. Maine Attorney General Michael Carpenter has indicated his office will investigate the situation if requested. Details.
