Abstract

Recent figures filed with the federal government show that U.S. represenative Thomas Andrews, D-Maine, has raised $216,000 for his Senate race, as compared to the $66,000 raised by his Republican opponent, U.S. represenative Olympia J. Snowe. James Mitchell, a Democratic candidate for the 2nd Congressional District seat, has raised $60,500 for his campaign, which is more than his six Democratic competitors combined.
