Abstract

Patrick McDonough, 2, of Wells, who suffers from a rare form of leukemia, is scheduled to undergo a bone-marrow transplant next month in Boston. The testing of 3,000 people beginning in January turned up one person who is a 5-out-of-6 match, and doctors are reluctant to wait and see if a perfect donor can be found. Details.
