Abstract

Patrick McDonough, 2, of Wells, who suffers from acute myelofibrosis, a rare form of leukemia, on Thursday was admitted to Children's Hospital in Boston. McDonough began receiving large doses of chemotherapy this week, and will start four days of radiation on Monday. He is scheduled to undergo a bone marrow transplant on Friday.
