Abstract

Disclosure reports on file in the secretary of state's office show that the Passamaquoddy Indians and other casino proponents spent a minimum of $67,636 in the past year on lobbying legislators to support the proposed gambling casino in Calais. Groups opposing the casino have spent less than $8,000 through the end of February in lobbying against the project.
