Abstract

The state Legislature is moving toward adopting a tax credit plan that will provide $5 million to an estimated 22,500 Mainers burdened with high medical bills. An existing tax credit designed to help nursing-home patients would have to be repealed before the new tax credit would go into effect. Details.
