Abstract

John and Katherine Turlo of South Windham have donated their 38-by-38-foot, 1930s-era logging camp to Michael and Mary Henderson, whose Kennebunk home has been deemed unfit to live in because of high levels of lead-based paint. The Turlos also donated a two-car garage. Both camp and garage will be moved to Kennebunk. The Turlos plan to build a new home for themselves on the vacated site. The project is being handled by the Buildings Materials Bank.
