Abstract

Atlantic Bancorp Inc., a local investment group that includes Robert A. G. Monks, said yesterday that it has reached an agreement to purchase Citibank (Maine) N.A. The deal requires regulatory approval, and will probably not be completed until the fall. Weston Bonney, a former chairman of Peoples Heritage Financial Group, is also associated with Atlantic Bancorp. Details.
