Abstract

Maine's commercial fish harvest for 1993 was 252,700,000 pounds, the biggest catch in 30 years, and was valued at $224.7 million. The figures include all commercial shellfish and fish, including farmed salmon. The 7 percent increase in value over 1992 is due to a combination of increased landings and higher prices. Details.
