Abstract

Lance Jones, the suspect in a string of burglaries in the Greater Portland area, was arrested yesterday in Dartmouth, Mass., and might be returned to Maine today. Jones narrowly avoided arrest twice in the past two weeks. In 1990, he was sentenced to serve five years of a ten-year sentence for burglary, and was released from the Maine Correctional Center in Windham on November 8, 1993. Details.
