Abstract

Some 800 donors from around the state gave everything from money to supplies to help resurrect Litchfield Central School, which burned as a result of arson early on the morning of March 3. News of the fire was spread by television and newspapers, word of mouth and a computer bulletin board for educators, leading to contributions from businesses, civic organizations, individuals and other schools.
