Abstract

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) yesterday ruled that John G. "Sean" Rafter's "exceptionally poor judgment" during a fatal Airmed helicopter flight last fall does not merit permanent revocation of his commercial pilot's license. The NTSB upheld the revocation of the air carrier license held by Echo Inc., the company that owned the helicoper. Under the new ruling, Rafter's commercial pilot's license is suspended only for 180 days. Details.
