Abstract

Portland city manager Robert B. Ganley, who played the key role in the renovation of Hadlock Field, considers the project the most rewarding of his 20-year career in municipal administration. Construction of the field is expected to cost around $4 million, to be split by the city and the owners of the Sea Dogs, putting the city's share at $500,000 over the amount initially pledged.
