Abstract

Williston West Church, located in Portland's West End, will stop renting an office to a family counselor because of claims by neighbors that the practice brings a commercial use to a residential neighborhood. The church also rents out offices to a religion teacher and a nun who helps AIDS patients, but since they are church-related they are permitted under current zoning laws. Details.
