Abstract

Helen Johnson and Earl McCann, who settled in Portland four years ago, traveled to the South African consulate in Boston to cast their votes in that country's first multi-racial elections. The two hope to return to South Africa, but not immediately. Both expressed satisfaction at having taken part in the election process.
