Abstract

Anne Bickford, 19, has filed suit in York County Superior Court against the University of New England, claiming that UNE failed to provide protection during a softball clinic at the school's Biddeford campus in 1993. Bickford, a former Wells High School student, was participating in a power pitch drill at the clinic when she was hit by a softball, suffering a broken nose and significant damage to the bone structure of the nose.
