Abstract

The Maine Harness Commission yesterday voted unanimously to hold a special hearing to determine if Joe Ricci hurt the sport when he launched into an obscenity-laden tirade against the commission over the public address system at Scarborough Downs racetrack on April 20. Ricci faces possible penalties of a $1,000 fine, suspension and loss of his racing license. Details.
