Abstract

Once a month, Franco-Americans and other Francophone Catholics gather at the Marie Joseph Spiritual Center in Biddeford for a French day of recollection intended to bring spiritual invigoration to elderly French-speaking people in the area. The center is run by the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, an order founded in France in 1796.
