Abstract

Emeline M. Grondon, an East Lebanon postal employee, has filed a civil lawsuit against East Lebanon postmaster John Kerrigan and the U.S. Postal Service. Grondon claims that she was shunned and subjected to unfair treatment after her 33-year-old son, Jeffrey Plowman, died on February 1, 1993, of complications resulting from AIDS. She seeks $1 million for emotional pain and suffering. She also seeks to be reimbursed for the cost of litigation. Details.
