Abstract

Claes Nobel, an international environmental activist and a member of the Swedish family that sponsors the Nobel Prize, was guest speaker yesterday at the Maine Alliance meeting that was held in Portland's State Theatre. Nobel urged Maine business leaders to respect the environment and warned of the disasters that could befall mankind if the warning is unheeded.
