Abstract

"The Quotable Moose," an anthology of modern works on Maine, is the brainchild of co-editors Roy Zarucchi and Carolyn Page of Nightshade Press in Troy. The book includes works by Cathie Pelletier and Carolyn Chute, as well as by a number of newcomers and unknowns, and was launched after Zarucchi and Page realized that most other Maine anthologies featured only the work of dead people.
