Abstract

The Portland Pirates on Tuesday won the American Hockey League's Northern Division finals by beating the Adirondack Red Wings 4-3 in Glen Falls, N.Y. The win means the team will be in the Calder Cup finals in their first year of existence, and earned team members a few days off for fun and relaxation.
