Abstract

Westbrook Superintendent of Schools Edward F. Connolly on Wednesday notified the school committee that unless the school system's financial situation improves he will not accept his scheduled five percent pay raise next year. The announcement came on the same night that the board notified the teachers' union that a reduction in force is in effect.
