Abstract

Thelma Ditzel, 72, of Charleston, retired back to her home town in 1988 after 43 years in New Jersey, and since then she has revitalized the library and started work on a town history. She has also been collecting the stories of Maine's people and putting them on tape, and has so far made two tapes covering seven subjects. Details.
