Abstract

The YWCA on Spring Street in Portland recently had an electrolytic ionization system installed on its pool, the first public pool in the state to do so. The system, installed by Cliff Dunham, owner of Caribbean Clear of Maine in Windham, keeps the water in the pool clean and free of bacteria with about one-fifth the chlorine usually used in public pools.
