Abstract

Brief article reporting that LaVerdiere's Enterprises has agreed to pay $40,000 in civil penalties for 16 violations of the federal Drug Control Act of 1970. LaVerdiere's Super Drug Store in Portland allegedly failed to keep proper records on the highly addictive drug Percocet, while the company's Action Mail Order drug store was charged with filling prescriptions for Xanax in an unorthodox manner.
