Abstract

South Portland police officers Todd Barlow and Theodore Sargent were justified in shooting George Jordan Jr. last month, according to an internal investigation of the incident. Maine Attorney General Michael Carpenter said on April 27 that the two officers acted properly when they entered Jordan's apartment to serve an arrest warrant. Jordan aimed a shotgun at the officers, at which point Barlow and Sargent shot him. Details.
