Abstract

South Portland police have drawn blood samples from as many as 30 men who might have been acquainted with Tammy Dickson, the 22-year old woman found bound, gagged and asphyxiated in her Cortland Court apartment in February. Investigators are seeking a DNA test on at least one of the samples, and will look for a genetic match to semen and other evidence found at the murder scene. The murder of Dickson is one of five unsolved homicides in southern Maine since January 1993. Details.
