Abstract

Kathleen Fowler, the daughter of Beverly Ricker of Scarborough, said she is convinced that her mother did not commit suicide. Ricker, 56, walked away from the emergency room at Maine Medical Center early Wednesday morning, and her body was discovered near Portland's sewage treatment plant some time later. Lt. Richard Rizzo of the Portland police said the death is considered suspicious. Details.
