Abstract

Trustees of the University of Maine System yesterday voted unanimously to confirm the appointment of Theodora J. Kalikow as president of the University of Maine at Farmington. Kalikow, dean of Plymouth State College in New Hampshire, will take office July 1. In other business, Ralph Hodgkins Jr., president and chief executive officer of Mid-Maine Savings Bank of Auburn, was elected chairman of the board of trustees.
