Abstract
The Champion paper mill in Bucksport has asked for a review of its valuations for 1992 and 1993, claiming that the 1992 valuation of $310 million should have been around $200 million. The State Board of Property Tax Review is expected to hear the appeal in September. The mill is among a growing number of Maine industries challenging local property-tax assessments.
