Abstract

Gotta Dance Inc., a ballroom dancing studio currently located in Portland, wants to move to a warehouse in the Cash Corner neighborhood of South Portland, but some residents of the area oppose the move. The studio would require a special permit because it is a noncomforming use. The city's Zoning Board of Appeals is set to hear the case tonight. Eugene Smith, co-owner of the studio, says that residents are reacting without proper knowledge of the business. Details.
