Abstract

Steve Young, a furniture merchant, and his partner, Dr. Judson Smith, have founded Personal Shopper One, a regional home-shopping network that will feature only Maine businesses and products. The half-hour segments, with hosts Liz Caldwell and Sam Brown, will begin appearing on Fox affiliate WPXT later this month. The program will spend more time interviewing manufacturers and retailers about products than playing games or hyping merchandise, and may eventually expand beyond the southern Maine market.
