Abstract
Randall Tenggren, 32, who three months ago fell off the balcony of a Portland nightclub and landed face first on the the dance floor, was arrested Tuesday morning after he stole an automobile and backed it into a police cruiser. Tenggren's blood-alcohol level at the time was 0.17 percent, more than twice the legal limit. Tenggren has served time in the Maine State Prison in Thomaston for robbery and drug trafficking, and is perhaps best known for being accused of involvement in the 1990 death of prison inmate Larry L. Richardson Jr. Tenggren is expected to be charged with theft by unauthorized taking, drunken driving and driving as an habitual offender. Details.
