Abstract

Campaign reports filed yesterday show that Maine's Democratic congressional candidates have raised more money than their Republican counterparts, with state senator Dennis Dutremble raising the most among the District 1 candidates and Jim Mitchell leading the District 2 candidates. In the Senate race, U.S. represenative Olympia Snowe reported receipts of $494,000 since the beginning of the year, as compared to the $421,000 reported by U.S. represenative Thomas H. Andrews.
