Abstract

Woodfords Educational Center, Portland's first school for developmentally disabled children, opened 27 years ago, and at its peak had nearly 150 students. Brian Dumais and Daniel Coleman last night became the school's last graduates. The school is closing after having achieved its goal of integrating handicapped students into local school systems.
