Abstract

Portland public works crews on Thursday erected new, personalized signs marking the assigned parking spaces for city councilors behind City Hall, even though some of the councilors' terms are expiring Monday. Deputy Public Works Director William J. Bray said the signs were a gesture on the part of the city to personally recognize the councilors. The signs were made more than a month ago but crews didn't get around to putting them up until Thursday.
