Abstract

Sugarloaf Mountain Corp. and S-K-I Ltd. of Killington, Vermont, announced last night that the Vermont company will purchase a controlling interest in the Sugarloaf Mountain Corp. The transaction will allow Sugarloaf/USA to launch an immediate $4.5 million expansion that will include a 7,000-foot, high-speed detachable quad chairlift with associated trails and snowmaking. Sugarloaf hosts 350,000 people each season and has annual revenues of $17 million.
