Abstract

Article about testimony given yesterday in Cumberland County Superior in the murder trial of Pamela Elliott, 31, of Westbrook, who is charged with the murder of her newborn girl. A state medical examiner yesterday testified that the baby had been born alive and had lived a least three minutes before being strangled and put in a trash bag that was later found in the attic of a Westbrook apartment house. Elliott's former husband and his stepmother provided details about events on the morning of September 21, 1992, the day of the baby's birth.
