Abstract

Portland West Neighborhood Planning Council has postponed a panel discussion on low-income housing that was scheduled for today. Nicky Boyd, the Portland West official responsible for organizing the event, said the postponementwas due to her inability to confirm the participation of the panel members, but some observers believe Portland West fears that the conference will dissolve into a debate about the complaints made against the organization by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
