Abstract

In a year when voters in most towns are overwhelmed by the number of people seeking public office, Bridgton lacks candidates for some of its elective positions. Only one candidate is running for the two open seats on the Board of Selectmen and only one is seeking election to the board of School Administrative District 61, which has three open seats. Bridgton officials are at a loss to explain the lack of interest.
