Abstract

Heidi Tobiason, 11, of Yarmouth, was killed yesterday afternoon at the Exit 9 tollbooth of the Maine Turnpike in Falmouth when the van in which she was riding was struck in the rear by a truck driven by Bill Crocker, 40, of Hartford, Connecticut. Others in the van were treated for injuries at Maine Medical Center and then released. Police have yet to decide whether to charged Crocker, who feel asleep at the wheel, with manslaughterm, reckless conduct with a motor vehicle, and a logbook violation.
