Abstract

Healthsource Maine Inc. has won a contract to offer an insurance plan combining managed care and traditional coverage to employees of L. L. Bean. Healthsource, the state's largest for-profit health maintenance organization, will offer the plan to 3,800 Bean workers, who also have the option of choosing traditional coverage from other carriers. Healthsource also provides coverage for Bath Iron Works, Unum Corp., Central Maine Power Co. and Bowdoin College.
