Abstract

After a two-hour meeting last evening at Portland City Hall, officials of Portland West Neighborhood Planning Council and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People agreed to set aside their differences and to work together to combat discrimination, particularly in housing. Reporters were not allowed to attend the meeting, which was described as being heated at times. Details.
