Abstract

A truck carrying a load of lumber tipped over and caught fire yesterday on a southbound lane of the Maine Turnpike, just south of Exit 8. A three-mile stretch of the highway was closed for 3 hours. Joseph Richards of Topsham, the driver of the truck, escaped injury.
