Abstract

The U.S. Postal Service last week signed a 10-year lease with developers Arthur Girard and Michael Scarks for space in the former Maine National Bank building on Congress and Exchange streets. The 125,000-square-foot building became vacant in January 1992, and will be at least 70 percent occupied after the Postal Service completes its move from Canal Plaza. Girard, 56, and Scarks, 41, doing business as A&M Partners, purchased the building for $251,000. Details.
