Abstract

Philip Jutras, a former Maine legislator who for the last two decades has been the volunteer curator of the Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mere-Eglise, France, yesterday was awarded the Legion of Honor by the French government. Jutras, 78, served 20 years in the U.S. Army, and was in Saint-Mere-Eglise during the Normandy campaign in 1944.
