Abstract

A 200-page Industry and Commerce Plan drafted by a committee of Portland residents and business people over the last year is recommending that the city establish an ombudsman service to help businesses and improve the city's business climate. The plan, which says businesses need more incentives to be in Portland than they are now receiving, will be considered by the city council at a workshop on Monday.
