Abstract

J. Henry Lyons, 31, of South Portland, yesterday surrendered to authorities on a charge of molesting an 8-year-old boy, and pleaded innocent to two counts of gross sexual assault. Lyons allegedly molested the boy numerous times between April 1993 and May 1994, and authorities started investigating the case after the boy and his parents made the allegations to police on June 23. Police searched Lyons' house on Saturday and Monday, and seized pornographic magazines and videotapes of nude males. Details.
