J Michael Orenduff, the chancellor of the University of Maine System, yesterday told legislators during his State of the University address, that Maine does not need more college students; it needs more graduates -- Noting that only half the students entering the university ever graduate, he called for increased effort to prepare college-bound students for the challenge
